-- this seems to be taking over the world each and everyday. everyone in town seems to have one of these cell phones and it's how we connect with one and other. it doesn't matter if you have the coolest cell phone or not. all that matters is that you have one, because it's how this town works. oh, make sure you have texting too. it's also something that we can't put down.

-- skype is the latest craze for communication these days, which is why we have a board for it here. if you would like to talk to someone face to face, but you want to see them rather then just hear them on a mobile phone, then this is the method for you. you can call anyone on skype and talk to them. it is the latest technology and anyone who is anyone is using it now.

-- this boards is used for many things. in here once you have gotten a staff to make your sub-board you can post up blogs for your character to rant through, make a twitter, have your characters online journal, post pictures via flickr or photobucket, post video's ect. there are many things than can go in your characters catalog but make sure to get your sub-board made before anything.

-- everyone has there off days when they don't want to post a 1,000 word post. on meet me halfway this is the only board where you can post below the required word count. the posts in here still cant be one liners, all posts in here should be a few well written paragraphs. the location in these threads can be wherever you want so just post it underneath the thread in the notes. so come here to do a quick thread.

-- everyone needs a place to live, and new york city citizens are no different. there are many types of houses to live in - you can live in an apartment if you are by yourself, or with your partner. if you live with your family, there are many big houses fitting enough for families of all shapes and sizes. if you're a university student, the dorms will house you for a small fee - lots of things happen at home, so everyone needs one.

-- lets face it, everyone has to shop at some point in their life. in new york city, there are many shops to allow you to do just that. there are plenty of clothing shops to suit everyone's taste, plus plenty of other shops so that everyone can spend their money. manhattan has shops to suit the rich and famous, as well as shops to suit people who can't afford that.

-- everyone loves food, and we all need it to survive. in new york city, there are a number of restaurants and diners to eat out at and enjoy yourself. some are luxurious and expensive, others are more fast food and moderatly priced. depending on what you feel like, and how much cash you have got, there will be a restaurant to suit your fancy and budget.

-- every good city has a nightlife district, which is where all the action happens. there are the hottest clubs in new york city, where all the publicity is, and where all the stars hang out. and there are a few lesser known clubs, but which are still teeming with activity. for all the party people in new york city, this is their heaven. you will often find the teenagers hanging around here, partying all night and getting drunk on the many alcoholic bevearages provided. if it's a good night out you're looking for, this is where to come.

-- time square is probably what has made new york city popular today. it's event's ties the city together, people from all over the united states come here for almost everything. it's located at the junction of broadway and seventh avenue. time square is in the middle of manhattan and there is a lot of things going on each day. there are even television shows that are filmed.

-- this board includes other places in town and around the world. there are plently of things to do in town, and this where your place is. since town is huge, and we couldn't fit everything around here on this board - that's why we have this board. this will keep you entertained and never dull around here. instead of having tons of boards for you to choose from we decided that you can pick any country, and place in the whole wide world. this board is free for you to do anything you want, just as long as you are following the rules. we love to look at creativity, so we hope that you use this board - it's like a whole new world.
